Is social media a blessing or curse?

With the riots in Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, Libya and of recent UK being attributed to social media either directly or indirectly. I don't how countries are going to embrace it in future.

Very good question! Like the stock markets that recently tumbled just because enough traders acted in the same way, rumors can spread fast with the aid of social media causing a bad prediction to come true.
